Atomium tickets on GetYourGuide start at $19.11 for an entry ticket that also includes the Design Museum. That is also the most reviewed of the Atomium tickets, rated 4.35 from 12,784 reviews. The monument is 102 m tall according to Wikidata, with its panoramic viewpoint in the top sphere. I’d book these Atomium tickets for opening time, when the queue for the lift is shortest.
I compared every Atomium ticket and tour that GetYourGuide lists today: one standard entry ticket, one city card, and four private tours or day trips that include the monument. Prices, ratings and inclusions come from the listings, checked in October 2026, in US dollars. Four of the six have no rating yet, and I say so wherever it matters. Links open GetYourGuide in a new tab, and I earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you.
Atomium at a Glance
The Atomium is a modernist landmark in Brussels, and it is easy to see why people want Atomium tickets for it: it looks like nothing else in Europe. The Wikipedia article explains that it was built as the centrepiece of the 1958 World’s Fair, Expo 58, and that nine steel-clad spheres represent an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. Only six of the nine spheres are open to visitors.

Atomium Observation Deck Tickets
For the observation deck itself, the ticket I’d buy is the plain Atomium entry ticket bundled with the Design Museum. It costs $19.11, the lowest price on this page, and is rated 4.35 from 12,784 reviews. The operator listed is Atomium itself, so this is the monument’s own product sold through GetYourGuide.
The ticket admits you to the permanent exhibition, the temporary exhibitions and the viewpoint in the top sphere, which the listing describes as 360-degree views over the 19 municipalities of Brussels. It adds an entry ticket to the Design Museum Brussels, which the listing places an 8-minute walk away, and a smartphone game. Guided tours and meals are not included. For this kind of Atomium ticket, the listing excludes wheelchair users, and says apart from the upper sphere, which is reached by lift, access is difficult for people with restricted mobility.
“A brilliant structure, great views from the highest sphere, didn't feel like you were being rushed.”
Prices for Atomium tickets sit in two bands. The entry ticket is $19.11, while everything else is either a city card or a private tour. The card is the Brussels Card at $61.82, valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours. It includes a skip-the-line ticket to the Atomium, entry to dozens of museums and public transport, plus a pocket guidebook and a map. The listing title says 48 museums, the description says 45 and the inclusion list says 49, so count on roughly that number rather than an exact figure.
Of all the Atomium tickets here, the card makes sense only if you plan to visit several museums. One reviewer chose the card for the Atomium and, with a single day in Brussels, did not get to see many museums. It is rated 3.93 from 123 reviews, the lowest score on my list. Another reviewer was happy with the museums they reached but wrote that the elevator queue at the Atomium was immense. You collect the card at the Grand Place or the Mont des Arts office, and the listing gives their hours.

My pick: The multi-museum option at $61.82: only worth it if you will use the museums and the transport, and it is rated 3.93 from 123 reviews.
Many travellers want Atomium Brussels tickets bundled with a guide and a ride, and the private tour with transfer and tasting is the version that does it. It costs $785.66 for a private group over six hours. The vehicle is air-conditioned and comes with water, WiFi and a child car seat on request, and the listing includes a professional photo and video service.
The stops are the Atomium and Mini-Europe, followed by a tasting of Belgian waffles, chocolate and fries. The listing says visit to the Atomium and visit to Mini-Europe rather than naming tickets, so ask the operator, ProCapture Tours, whether entry fees are covered. It has no rating yet. The listing says people with mobility impairments are not catered for. This is a tour for families or small groups who want everything arranged, not a way to save money on Atomium tickets.
ProCapture Tours
Brussels & Atomium: Private Tour with Transfer and Tasting
6 hours
Free cancellation
My pick: A six-hour private tour at $785.66 with both Atomium and Mini-Europe visits and a waffle, chocolate and fries tasting; no rating yet.
The top sphere is more than a viewpoint, because Wikipedia says it holds a restaurant with a panoramic view of Brussels. The entry listing puts the dining room 95 m above the ground and says you can buy Belgian specialities or seasonal dishes there. That is the listing’s figure, not an official one, and I have not found a menu or prices I can cite.
None of the cheaper Atomium tickets includes a meal, and tickets for the Atomium restaurant are not sold separately on this page. The only listing here that does is the private Mini-Europe tour, which includes lunch on top of the Atomium in its price. If you want to eat there, check the official site for current opening times and whether you need to reserve a table, and expect it to be part of the Atomium visit rather than a separate booking on this page.
Atomium Reviews
The reviews on the main ticket are better evidence than anything else on this page, so use them when you choose among Atomium tickets. Google Maps gives the monument 4.4 from 114,298 reviews, and the entry ticket is almost identical at 4.35 from 12,784. Travellers highlight the panoramic views and the light installations, and the recurring complaint is the lift queue, with the listing advising that you avoid 10 AM to 3 PM and that visitors thin out after 3:30 PM.
The card in this section is a day trip from Paris, and it is not rated. At $2,191.76 it is the most expensive listing and a 13-hour private excursion: you ride from Paris to Brussels, tour the Grand Place and the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, stop for lunch, then spend 1.5 hours at the Atomium and 45 minutes at a Belgian beer tasting before the drive back. The Atomium inside is optional, because the listing says interior access depends on the option selected. Read that line carefully before you book.

13-hour ticket
Free cancellation
My pick: A 13-hour private day trip from Paris at $2,191.76 with the Atomium, the Grand Place and a beer tasting; unrated, and the interior depends on the option.
The price of Atomium tickets runs from $19.11 to $2,191.76, and the gap says more about what is bundled than about the monument. The entry ticket is the base for all Atomium tickets. Everything above it in the list of Atomium ticket prices pays for a car, a guide or a day out. The card at $61.82 sits closest to the base among Atomium tickets, and the private tours begin at $393.39.

The card here is a leftover in my ranking, but it answers a real question. The private Atomium and Mini-Europe tour with transport costs $393.39 for five hours and includes round-trip transport, a guide who also drives, entrance tickets to both the Atomium and Mini-Europe Park, gratuities and lunch on top of the Atomium. Spoken languages are English, Russian and Spanish, and the operator is TourUpinEurope. Nobody has rated it yet. For a family of four the cost per person is not far above the plain entry price plus a taxi, and Mini-Europe is added.
TourUpinEurope
Private Atomium & Mini-Europe Tour with Transport

My pick: A leftover in my ranking, but the clearest all-in combo: $393.39 for five hours with transport, lunch and entry to both the Atomium and Mini-Europe; unrated.
You book Atomium tickets online here by picking a date on the listing page. The entry ticket is valid for one day and the listing says to check availability for starting times. The listing offers reserve now and pay later, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before, so you can hold a slot for the day with little risk.
A mobile voucher is enough for these Atomium tickets, and the listing asks you to bring a charged smartphone and headphones for the game. You collect nothing: the meeting point is the ticketing pavilion at the Atomium. The Brussels Card works differently, since the voucher is exchanged at a partner office and the card activates at the first scan. Whichever of these Atomium tickets you pick, read the cancellation line on the page before paying.
Atomium Hours
Google Maps lists the Atomium as open from 10 AM to 6 PM every day of the week, so your Atomium tickets are good for daytime visits only. Those hours are a snapshot, and I have no figure for the last entry time. The official site is where I would confirm the closing time for your date, as it can change around holidays and for events.
The hours matter for planning because 6 PM is earlier than sunset for much of the year. Beyond that, the listing’s advice on timing is the more useful number: avoid 10 AM to 3 PM, and expect fewer visitors after 3:30 PM. If I had to choose, I’d arrive at 10 AM, because after 3:30 PM you have little time left to see all six spheres.
Atomium Tickets Discount
No listing here is discounted as such, and I would not trust one that claimed to be. The real saving on Atomium tickets is the bundle. The $19.11 entry ticket already includes a Design Museum ticket, and the Brussels Card lists up to 40% savings against regular admission, a claim the listing makes, not one I could check.
The product in this section is a leftover and it is the opposite of a discount: a private full-day tour at $561.99 with tickets to the Atomium, a local guide, public transport tickets and a local bite or drink. Meals and other entrance tickets are not included. It is unrated, but the operator, The Travel Bard, offers it in Italian, English and Spanish. Choose it among the Atomium tickets for a guide who adds the Grand Place and the city’s history, not for price.

Brussels 360°: Private City Tour with Atomium Entry
24-hour ticket

My pick: Not a discount: a private full-day city tour at $561.99 that includes Atomium entry and public transport; unrated.
Clouds decide how good the view from the top sphere is, so check the month before you book Atomium tickets. In the 2025 weather data from Open-Meteo, the clearest months are March at 44% average cloud cover and April at 45%. The cloudiest is October at 84%, then January at 79% and November at 78%. Sunset runs from 16:36 in December to 21:58 in June.
On this site I usually recommend arriving 45 to 60 minutes before sunset, but the Atomium is the exception. With a 6 PM closing time per Google Maps, sunset falls after closing from March to October, so use the planner to see what is left. In winter, from November to February, sunset is before 18:00 and you could catch it from the top. If you are buying tickets for the Atomium for a summer visit, expect daylight views and ask the official site whether evening hours apply.
What You Can See From the Atomium
From the top sphere you look across Brussels. The listing promises views over the 19 municipalities. The Atomium sits at the northern edge of the city, so the historic centre is a distance away. Distances below are straight-line from the monument, computed from the Google Maps coordinates.
The nearest of these is Uitzicht Brussel-Congres at 5.16 km (3.21 miles). The Cathedral of St Michael and St Gudula is 5.38 km (3.35 miles) away, and the Grand Place is 5.40 km (3.36 miles). Manneken Pis sits at 5.58 km (3.47 miles), the Mont des Arts at 5.82 km (3.62 miles) and the Royal Palace at 6.06 km (3.76 miles). Lookout des Marolles is 6.35 km (3.94 miles) off, and the Parc du Cinquantenaire is the farthest at 6.87 km (4.27 miles).
Expect these landmarks to look small from the top sphere that your Atomium tickets open. The point of the view is the layout of the city and the Heysel plateau around you. Pair your Atomium entry tickets with a visit to the Grand Place later in the day.
Atomium vs Other Observation Decks in Brussels
The Atomium is the only paid deck on this site in Brussels, so the comparison is with the other viewpoints in my data. Ratings are from Google Maps, and distances are straight-line from the Atomium. Where Google lists no review count, I leave it out.

I’d pair the Atomium with Lookout des Marolles in the evening: it is open 24 hours per Google Maps, and it shows the city from the south. The Grande Roue at Place Poelaert lists hours of 11 AM to 11 PM, so it is the way to catch the lit city after your Atomium visit, and The View - Bruxelles lists 11 AM to 10 PM. Check the price and opening rules for both before you go. If you are travelling on from Brussels and want a taller deck, the Eiffel Tower is 265 km away.
How I’d Choose
First visit and cheapest: the Atomium entry ticket with the Design Museum at $19.11, rated 4.35 from 12,784 reviews.
Several museums in one or two days: the Brussels Card at $61.82, but only if you will actually use the museums.
Avoiding the queue: the same Atomium ticket, booked for a 10 AM slot, because the listing advises avoiding 10 AM to 3 PM and says it thins out after 3:30 PM.
Atomium plus Mini-Europe with no logistics: the private tour with transport at $393.39 for five hours, with lunch on top of the Atomium.
Families who want food and tastings: the private tour with transfer and tasting at $785.66, which adds waffles, chocolate and fries.
A full day with a guide: the Brussels 360 private tour at $561.99, or the Paris day trip at $2,191.76 if you are starting in France.
Frequently asked questions
Is it worth going inside the Atomium?+
I think so, mainly for the panoramic view from the top sphere and the exhibitions in the spheres below it. The Atomium is the best known landmark in Brussels, so Atomium tickets sell steadily, and Wikipedia says it draws over 600,000 visitors a year. The entry ticket with the Design Museum is rated 4.35 from 12,784 reviews, and reviewers praise the views. Some mention long lift queues.
Can you buy Atomium tickets on the day?+
Every listing on this page is booked for a date you choose, and most can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before. The Brussels Card listing says no advance booking is needed, because the card activates when you first scan it. For a same-day visit, check availability on the date and the official site, which also lists any closures.
How much time do you need in the Atomium?+
The entry listing gives no fixed duration, and the reviewer I quote says they did not feel rushed. The one concrete figure is on the Paris day trip, which allots 1.5 hours at the Atomium for a photo stop, the visit and a guided tour. I would plan on about that, longer if you add the Design Museum.
How much does it cost to visit the Atomium?+
On GetYourGuide the entry ticket with a Design Museum ticket costs $19.11, which is the cheapest of the six options here. The Brussels Card, which includes skip-the-line entry to the Atomium and many museums, is $61.82. Private tours that include entry run from $393.39 for a group to $2,191.76 for the Paris day trip.
What is inside the Atomium?+
Wikipedia says tubes between the spheres hold stairs, escalators and a lift reaching six visitable spheres, with exhibition halls and public spaces. The top sphere holds a restaurant and the panorama. The entry listing names a permanent exhibition about the monument, the CENTRALE installation and two temporary exhibitions, one of them a sound and light show.
Which Atomium tickets include Mini-Europe?+
Two listings include it. The private Atomium and Mini-Europe tour with transport, $393.39 for five hours, lists entrance tickets to both. The private tour with transfer and tasting, $785.66 for six hours, lists a visit to each. The standard entry ticket does not include Mini-Europe, so combine it yourself.
