The High Roller at The LINQ Ticket
4.6 (5,375) · from $21.40

High Roller tickets on GetYourGuide start at $21.40 for the standard ride, and the Happy Half Hour open-bar cabin is $45.65. The most reviewed option is that standard ticket, rated 4.63 from 5,375 reviews. The wheel is 167.6 m tall according to Wikidata, and one ride is a single 30-minute rotation. I’d ride about an hour before sunset, so you see Las Vegas in daylight and then lit.

I compared the three High Roller tickets and experiences that GetYourGuide sells right now: the standard ride, the Happy Half Hour cabin with an open bar and a Pink Jeep city tour that includes the wheel. Every price on these High Roller tickets, rating and inclusion comes from the listings, checked in October 2026 and shown in US dollars. Links open GetYourGuide in a new tab, and I earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you.
The High Roller is the giant observation wheel at The LINQ on the Las Vegas Strip, and Wikipedia says it opened on March 31, 2014 as the world’s tallest Ferris wheel. These are the numbers behind your High Roller ticket, each with its source.
Owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment, it opened to the public on March 31, 2014 as the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
A ride is one full turn of the wheel. Wikipedia describes the ticket as a single 30-minute ride, the time the entire wheel takes to rotate once, and counts 28 cabins that each carry 40 passengers. That is also why the view builds slowly: the best vantage point is the top of the rotation, roughly 15 minutes in, so stay at the windows instead of watching a screen.
| What | Detail |
|---|---|
| Ride | One 30-minute rotation, per Wikipedia and the listings |
| Cabins | 28 cabins of 40 passengers each, 1,120 in total, per Wikipedia; the listings say the cabins are air-conditioned |
| Where to start | The High Roller box office inside the LINQ Hotel, per the listings |
| Hours | Monday to Thursday 12 PM to 12 AM, Friday to Sunday 12 PM to 2 AM, per the Happy Half Hour listing |
| Ticket validity | 72 hours on the standard and Happy Half Hour listings |
Hours and operating days can change, so before you buy High Roller tickets check the official High Roller page for the date you plan to ride.
If you want one ticket to start from, this is the standard ride. The High Roller at The LINQ ticket costs from $21.40, is rated 4.63 from 5,375 reviews and includes the ride, souvenirs and photos. It is the most reviewed of the High Roller tickets I compared, and it is non-refundable, so book it for a date you are sure of. The listing is valid for 72 hours, which gives you a window rather than a fixed slot.
Read the validity wording carefully. The listing says anytime tickets are valid daily from 12 PM until closing, while daytime tickets are valid only from 12 PM to 5 PM. I cannot tell from the listing which option carries the $21.40 price, so check the option list at checkout before you pay. The ride also uses an audio tour that points out landmarks as they appear around the rotation.
On skip-the-line: GetYourGuide labels the Happy Half Hour listing as skip the line, but the standard listing does not use that label and neither describes a separate fast lane. I’d treat a High Roller skip-the-line ticket here as a reserved ticket you can show at the box office, not a promise of no queue.

The High Roller has no deck to climb to, so High Roller observation deck tickets here mean a cabin seat on the wheel. The listing says the 30-minute rotation gives you views of the Strip, the valley and the mountains. The three High Roller tickets I found are the only ways I could verify to ride: the standard ticket above, the bar cabin below and the city tour further down.
The high point matters more than a deck height here. Wikidata gives the wheel a height of 167.6 m, which is why the rotation is short but the view is wide. Choose the same cabin in daylight and again at night and you will see two different cities, with the desert and the mountains clear in the day and the neon lit after dark.
Searches for High Roller Vegas are mostly people checking where the wheel is and what it sits next to before they buy High Roller tickets. It stands at the centre of The LINQ Promenade, a strip of bars, shops and restaurants, which the listings call the heart of the LINQ. That makes it easy to combine with dinner or drinks before or after your High Roller ticket.
Measured from the wheel’s Wikidata coordinates, the Las Vegas Strip is only 0.52 km (0.33 miles) away, and Sphere is 0.67 km (0.42 miles) away. The Fountains of Bellagio are 0.76 km (0.47 miles) from the wheel, so you can walk to them. Fremont Street is a different part of town, 6.29 km (3.91 miles) north, and the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is 3.98 km (2.47 miles) south. If this is your first trip, ride the wheel early in your stay to learn the layout of the Strip from above.
Everyone asks for discounted High Roller tickets, and the honest answer is that I found no promo codes or free-ticket offers in the data. What I did find is that High Roller tickets change price with the kind of ticket. The standard ride starts at $21.40, and its daytime option is valid only between 12 PM and 5 PM, which is the cheapest way I can verify to ride.
The saving is real if your time is flexible. The Happy Half Hour cabin costs $45.65, which is $24.25 more than the standard ticket, so a daytime ride at the lower price pays for a round of drinks elsewhere. The listings are priced per person and do not show a group rate, so use the calculator in the next section to see a total for your party.
High Roller tickets on this page range from $21.40 to $126.69, and the spread comes from what is bundled rather than from the wheel. The ride itself starts at $21.40. An open bar in the cabin takes it to $45.65, and a three-hour Pink Jeep city tour with the wheel as its finale costs $126.69, covering hotel pick-up, a guide, water and gratuities as well as the ticket.
Ratings are close, which makes price the main difference: 4.63 for the standard ride, 4.68 for the bar cabin and 4.46 for the tour. Two of the three are non-refundable, and only the Pink Jeep tour offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before. If you are comparing High Roller ticket prices for a group, this calculator works out the total and links to the booking page.

Prices are the lowest per-person prices on GetYourGuide when I last checked; the final price depends on the date, time slot and age.
High Roller tickets are not sold for the morning, because the wheel does not open early. The Happy Half Hour listing gives hours of 12 PM to 12 AM from Monday to Thursday, with last entry at 11:30 PM, and 12 PM to 2 AM from Friday to Sunday, with last entry at 1:30 AM. The standard listing agrees that tickets are valid daily from 12 PM until closing, so a morning ride is not possible.
That gives you two windows for your High Roller ticket. Daytime tickets are valid only from 12 PM to 5 PM, so you see the desert and the mountains, and after that you see the lit Strip. I’d pick the evening on a weekend, because the late closing means you can ride after dinner. Hours and last entry change with the date, so confirm them on the official page before you go.
Of all the High Roller tickets, the Happy Half Hour is the one I’d choose for a celebration. The listing, High Roller Wheel - Happy Half Hour with Open Bar, includes one 30-minute rotation with an in-cabin open bar and a bartender, plus photos. It costs $45.65, is rated 4.68 from 1,531 reviews and is the highest rated of the three. It excludes people under 21 and is non-refundable.
Reviewers are specific. One group said only four of them were in the cabin and the drinks arrived fast, with beer, wine and spirits to choose from. Another liked the bartender and the night views but wrote that the windows are dirty and make photos hard, and a third said the cleanliness could use some care. Go at sunset, because that gives you daylight, then the lights, in one 30-minute ride. The view of the Strip from this cabin is the same as from the standard ticket, so you are paying for the bar.
Great experience with an outstanding bartender! The views at night are spectacular!

I found no separate fast pass among the High Roller tickets in the data, so there is nothing to buy under that name. The only thing close is the Happy Half Hour listing, which GetYourGuide labels skip the line, and the Pink Jeep tour, which includes the wheel but is not a pass at all. If you hoped to jump a queue, the practical fix is to ride at a quiet time, such as the afternoon.
The remaining product is the Pink Jeep Bright Lights City Tour with High Roller Ticket, and it is a leftover in my ranking for this question rather than a fast pass. It is a three-hour small-group tour for $126.69 with hotel pick-up and drop-off, a certified guide, bottled water and gratuities. The stops are the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, the Strip, the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, The Mirage, the Bellagio Fountains, Wedding Chapel Row, Fremont Street and, last, the wheel.
It is rated 4.46 from only 65 reviews, so the sample is small, though reviewers praise the guides and one noted the water in the heat. I’d book it if you have no car and want the sights and the ride in one booking, and skip it if you only want the wheel, since the standard ticket is $105.29 cheaper.

Pink Jeep Tours - Las Vegas
My pick: A leftover for a fast pass search but a fair tour: $126.69 for hotel pick-up, a guide, the Strip stops and a High Roller ride, 4.46 stars from 65 reviews.

Cloud cover decides how good the view is, so it matters when you book High Roller tickets. In the 2025 weather data from Open-Meteo, the clearest months are July at 8% average cloud cover, October at 13% and June at 15%. The cloudiest is November at 45%, which also has 7 rainy days, followed by February and March at 39%. Sunset, which sets the slot for your High Roller tickets, runs from 16:27 in December to 19:59 in June.

Sunset and cloud cover for the same dates in 2025 at the deck (Open-Meteo historical weather (ERA5), 2025); sunset moves by about a minute between years.
My rule for a High Roller ticket is to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before sunset. That puts you in the cabin as the light turns, and the top of the 30-minute rotation comes just as the Strip begins to light up. On this data, October is a good month for it, with 13% cloud and an 18:04 sunset, and July has the most sunshine at 13.6 hours a day, though the air-conditioned cabin is a relief in the heat.
The best view is at the top of the rotation, about 15 minutes after you board, when the cabin is highest. On a clear day the horizon is a long way off. The calculator below uses the wheel’s height to show how far you can see.

The Las Vegas Strip runs right beside the wheel at 0.52 km (0.33 miles), and Sphere is 0.67 km (0.42 miles) away. The Fountains of Bellagio are 0.76 km (0.47 miles) off, and the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign sits 3.98 km (2.47 miles) to the south. The STRAT tower is 3.47 km (2.16 miles) north, and the Fremont Street Experience is 6.29 km (3.91 miles) away. The Neon Museum is 7.22 km (4.49 miles) off, Red Rock Canyon 25.71 km (15.98 miles) and Seven Magic Mountains 32.32 km (20.08 miles), so those last two are for clear air.
The wheel is the cheapest way to get above the Strip that I could verify, but it is not the only viewpoint. Ratings and review counts are from Google Maps, and distances are straight-line from the wheel.
| Deck | Google rating | Reviews | Distance | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Roller | 4.63 to 4.68 on GetYourGuide | 1,531 to 5,375 | the wheel itself | Paid, from $21.40 |

| The STRAT Observation Deck | 4.5 | 292 | 3.48 km (2.16 mi) | Check locally |
The Paris Las Vegas deck is the one I’d pair with the wheel, since it is a short walk away and shows the Bellagio fountains from a different angle. The STRAT SkyPod is the one to add if you want a view from the north end of the Strip, 3.50 km (2.18 miles) from the wheel, and I would not do both on the same night. These High Roller tickets are the better choice for a moving view, and a fixed deck suits photos.
On GetYourGuide the standard High Roller ticket starts at $21.40, rated 4.63 from 5,375 reviews. The Happy Half Hour cabin with an open bar is $45.65, and a Pink Jeep city tour that includes the wheel is $126.69. Prices are in US dollars and come from the listings, so check the option list for the time slot you want.
The standard listing includes the High Roller ticket plus souvenirs and photos, and one ride is a single 30-minute rotation in an air-conditioned cabin with an audio tour about Las Vegas. The Happy Half Hour listing adds a 30-minute open bar in the cabin. The Pink Jeep tour adds hotel pick-up, a guide and bottled water.
The listings send you to the High Roller box office in the LINQ Hotel to start, so there is a counter on site. I found no walk-up prices in my data, so I cannot say what the box office charges. Booking ahead locks in the price shown here and the 72-hour validity window that two listings state.
Only on the Happy Half Hour ticket. That listing includes an open bar inside the cabin for the 30-minute ride, served by a bartender, and it excludes anyone under 21. The standard ticket and the Pink Jeep tour do not mention drinks, so treat the plain ride as drink-free.
The cheapest ticket in my data is the standard listing from $21.40, and it offers a daytime option valid only from 12 PM to 5 PM. I found no promo codes or free-ticket offers in the data. If you want the lowest price, book that daytime option and ride before 5 PM.
I have no measured queue times, so I will not guess. What is known is that one ride is a 30-minute rotation, and Wikipedia says the wheel has 28 cabins that each hold 40 passengers, a total capacity of 1,120. Evenings and sunset are the times I would expect a line.
For $21.40 and up I think it is, if you want a 30-minute look at the Strip from a wheel that is 167.6 m tall according to Wikidata. A GetYourGuide reviewer wrote that it was worth it in the evening after sunset. Skip it on a cloudy day, when the view is the whole point.
