If you want the best views in Barcelona from a ticketed deck, I’d book Mirador Torre Glòries: it is the cheapest at $20, rated 4.6 from 1,459 reviews, and its deck is 125 m up on the 30th floor. The highest-profile climb is the Sagrada Familia towers, from $37.99 for the audio guide ticket where a tower is an option, or $82.95 for the 4 You Barcelona tour (4.81) that lists tower access. The free option is a hilltop viewpoint such as Montjuïc. I’d go an hour before sunset.

Two decks answer the search for the best views in Barcelona on this site: a glass-walled tower deck in Poblenou, and the towers of Gaudí’s basilica in the Eixample. They give very different views, and that is what makes the best views in Barcelona a real choice and not a ranking. Torre Glòries is a plain viewing deck with a clear ticket, while the Sagrada Família towers are an add-on to a basilica visit. The Torre Glòries deck height is from its official site, and the basilica’s 172.5 m is the central spire per Wikidata, not the height you stand at. Prices are the cheapest option on GetYourGuide. I have no stated deck height for the towers, so I leave it blank.
| Deck | Height | Open-air? | Price from | Top ticket rating | Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mirador Torre Glòries | Deck 125 m up, on the 30th floor | Enclosed, glass-walled | $20 | 4.6 from 1,459 | Tickets |
| Sagrada Familia towers | Central spire 172.5 m; tower platform height not stated | Not stated in my data | $37.99 | 4.81 from 15,247 | Tickets |
The two sit 1.3 km (0.8 miles) apart in a straight line, so a day can hold both. Torre Glòries wins on price and on a known height. The basilica wins on what you are standing next to, and it is the better of the two Barcelona views if architecture is why you came.
This is the deck I’d book first when the goal is the skyline. According to Wikipedia, the 360-degree deck is on the 30th floor at 125 m, in a tower designed by Jean Nouvel that opened in 2005. The entry ticket is the only listing I found, which makes the choice easy. Google Maps rates the deck 4.6 from 5,311 reviews, and reviewers mention the view over the whole city and the exhibition on the way up.

For the best views in Barcelona with a guaranteed ticket, this is the simple route. The catch is the season. The official site lists 10:00 to 21:00 from 1 April to 31 October, until 22:00 from 24 July to 31 August, and Wednesday to Monday, 10:00 to 18:30 from 1 November to 31 March. Last entry is one hour before closing. The details are on the Mirador Torre Glòries tickets page.
The towers are the pick when you want the view from inside Gaudí’s work. Wikipedia says visitors can reach the Nativity and Passion steeples, that access is by lift, and that the way down is a very narrow spiral staircase of over 300 steps. The listings I compared do not say one tower has a better view, so I choose the time slot first and the facade second.
Of the Sagrada Familia towers tickets, the plain audio guide ticket is the cheapest at $37.99 and the most reviewed, with 120,984 reviews, but a tower is an option you select. For a booking that lists tower access outright, I’d use the 4 You Barcelona tour.

Two guided tours I compared list the basilica only, so read the inclusions before you pay. The full list is on the Sagrada Familia towers tickets page, and the official Sagrada Família site sells basilica tickets directly. When I checked on 17 October 2026 it showed a temporary weather closure banner with no dates.
The best views in Barcelona are not all ticketed. The city has more free high points than most, and Google Maps lists several. Mirador de Montjuic is rated 4.7 from 1,794 reviews and Mirador de l’Alcalde 4.6 from 3,183. Turó de les Tres Creus is rated 4.4 from 1,967, and Mirador de Miramar is rated 4.7 from 162. I have no prices or opening hours for any of them, so I quote none. They make a good add-on to a deck, and Mirador de Montjuic is 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from the basilica and 4.9 km (3.0 miles) from Torre Glòries.

Mirador del Mediterrani W is rated 4.7 from 396 reviews and sits 4.0 km (2.5 miles) from Torre Glòries, near the sea. The Parc del Mirador del Poble-sec is the busiest, rated 4.5 from 10,295, and is 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from the basilica. A free viewpoint costs nothing, but it has no ticketed deck, so there is no guaranteed view if the haze is thick. Many of the best views of Barcelona from a hill depend on the day, so I treat them as a bonus on top of a booked deck, not a replacement. Because they are outdoors and open to everyone, an early morning visit is usually quieter, but I have no crowd data to quote.
Both decks share one city, so I use the Torre Glòries data for the weather. Per Open-Meteo, August was the clearest month in 2025 at 31 percent cloud cover, followed by June at 34 percent and July at 38 percent. December was the cloudiest at 66 percent, then March at 64 percent and February at 63 percent. Sunset runs from 17:22 in December to 21:26 in June.

Sunset and cloud cover for the same dates in 2025 at the deck (Open-Meteo historical weather (ERA5), 2025); sunset moves by about a minute between years.
For the best views in Barcelona at sunset, I’d arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the sun goes down. That works best in winter, because the Torre Glòries deck closes at 18:30 between November and March. From April to October, sunset falls after closing, so a late-afternoon slot is the realistic choice.
For the best views of Barcelona, height helps up to a point. The calculator below uses the Torre Glòries deck at 125 m. On a clear day haze limits the view before geometry does.

From Torre Glòries the Sagrada Família is 1.3 km (0.8 miles) away, and Park Güell is 3.3 km (2.1 miles). Casa Batlló is 2.4 km (1.5 miles) and the cathedral 2.4 km (1.5 miles). From the basilica the same landmarks are closer: Casa Batlló 1.5 km (0.9 miles) and Park Güell 2.2 km (1.4 miles). Distances are straight-line, computed from Google Maps coordinates.
Yes, and combining them gives you the best views in Barcelona from two angles. The two decks are 1.3 km apart, and both are on the Avinguda Diagonal side of the Eixample. A natural plan is the basilica and its towers in the morning, a long lunch, and the Torre Glòries deck for a late-afternoon slot. I’d keep a gap of at least two hours, since the basilica tour listings run about 1.5 hours.
The order depends on the season. In winter I’d put Torre Glòries last for the sunset window, and in summer I’d put it before 21:00 whatever else you have planned. If the basilica is closed by weather on your date, the Torre Glòries ticket still holds, with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead.
The cheapest ticket for the best views in Barcelona is the $20 Torre Glòries entry. It buys a timed slot on the deck. The Sagrada Familia audio guide ticket is $37.99 and covers the basilica, with a tower selectable. The 4 You Barcelona tour is $82.95 and adds an official guide and hotel pickup. For a group, price the Torre Glòries ticket first.

The best views in Barcelona depend on who is travelling, so here is the shortlist.
I’ve kept this list to one line per visitor.
If you can only pick one of the best views in Barcelona, I’d book Torre Glòries. If you can fit two, I’d add the Sagrada Família tower climb for the view from inside Gaudí’s design.
For the whole basilica in one frame, I'd go up Mirador Torre Glòries. Its deck is 125 m up and 1.3 km (0.8 miles) from the basilica in a straight line, and reviewers say the city view includes the church. The $20 entry ticket is rated 4.6 from 1,459 reviews. Inside the basilica, the tower climb gives a close view of the spires.
By Google Maps review counts, the Sagrada Família is rated 4.8 from 336,395 reviews, Park Güell 4.4 from 243,679 and Casa Batlló 4.7 from 220,999. For a view of the city, I'd add one deck. Mirador Torre Glòries at $20 is the simplest, and the Sagrada Familia towers tickets add the climb to a basilica visit.
Google Maps lists several quiet free viewpoints. Mirador de Miramar on Montjuïc is rated 4.7 from 162 reviews, Mirador del Mediterrani W is rated 4.7 from 396, and Mirador de Montjuic is rated 4.7 from 1,794. I have no entry prices or hours for them, so check locally before you go.
The cheapest paid option I found is the Mirador Torre Glòries entry ticket at $20 on GetYourGuide. The Sagrada Familia audio guide ticket starts at $37.99 and lets you select a tower, and the 4 You Barcelona tour that lists tower access is $82.95. Hilltop viewpoints such as Montjuïc have no ticket in my data.
In the 2025 Open-Meteo data, August was the clearest month at 31 percent cloud cover, then June at 34 percent and July at 38 percent. December was the cloudiest at 66 percent. Winter is better for sunset at the Torre Glòries deck, because it closes at 18:30 from November to March.
I would. The Torre Glòries official site says a ticket gives access on a specified date and time, and Wikipedia says Sagrada Família tower entry needs a reservation and advance purchase. When I checked on 17 October 2026 the basilica site showed a temporary weather closure banner, so check it again.
