Euromast tickets start at $15.17 on GetYourGuide, and that single entry ticket is also the most reviewed option, with 4.55 stars from 3,514 reviews. The tower is 184.5 m tall, per Wikidata, and the Euroscoop rides to 185 m on the outside. I’d go in the hour before sunset on a clear day, ideally in spring.

Euromast at a Glance

Rotterdam’s tower is a 1960 landmark built for the Floriade garden show, and it is the only one of its kind in the city that you can buy a ticket for online through this site. I found one product among the Euromast tickets, so this page is short on choices and long on detail about that one listing. The tower stands in the Het Park area beside the Nieuwe Maas, a short walk from the Kunsthal.

The odd detail in the table is how the tower grew. Wikipedia says it was 101 m tall when it opened, which made it the tallest building in Rotterdam, and that the Space Tower added another 85 m in 1970. That is why you get two very different experiences on one site: a modest platform near 96 m and a high outdoor ride at the top.

Euromast Observation Deck Tickets

If you search for Euromast observation deck tickets, the product you want is the Euromast Lookout Tower Ticket, sold by Euromast Rotterdam itself. It is the plain entry ticket, listed at 45 minutes, and it gives you the tower and the Rise of Rotterdam exhibit on the ground floor.

My pick: My first-visit pick: the cheapest way up, with by far the most reviews, and you can add the Euroscoop if you want the top.

This is a ticket, not a tour, and it is the whole product range for Euromast tickets on this page. The inclusions list names the Euromast entry ticket and an Euroscoop ticket if you pick that option. It also mentions food and drinks, which I would not read as a free meal; check what your voucher actually covers before you assume anything. Pets are not allowed, though assistance dogs are. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before for a full refund, and the ticket works in English and Dutch.

Euromast Tickets and Prices

All Euromast tickets on this page come down to one price: $15.17 in USD. There is no cheaper entry and no pricier bundle in my data, so there is no pass or private tour to weigh against it. What changes the bill is the option you select at checkout, since the Euroscoop is an add-on rather than part of the base entry. I can’t see that add-on price in the data, so the booking page is where you will see it.

The calculator below gives the total for your party at the listed price. For a family or a group of friends, Euromast tickets are cheap enough that the Euroscoop upgrade is the real decision, not the entry.

Prices are the lowest per-person prices on GetYourGuide when I last checked; the final price depends on the date, time slot and age.

Observation Deck Near Me

If you searched for an observation deck near you and ended up here, the Euromast sits at Parkhaven 20 on the west side of the city centre. The nearest other deck on this site is the A’DAM Lookout in Amsterdam, about 57 km away in a straight line, so it is a separate trip; see A’DAM Lookout tickets if you are combining the two cities. Within Rotterdam, the other viewpoints on my list are free spots at street or bridge level, listed in the comparison table further down.

Euromast Restaurant

The tower has a restaurant, and Euromast tickets do not cover a table. The product description says you can book brunch, lunch, dinner, high tea or high wine there, with a reservation desired, and that there is a coffee corner on the ground floor with pastries, paninis and wraps. Wikipedia also lists a restaurant as part of the tower, and Google Maps tags the place as a restaurant too.

A reviewer wrote that the food at the restaurant met their expectations, which is the only comment I have on it. I would reserve in advance for a sunset slot and check the menu and prices on the official site, since I can’t see them.

Euromast Tower Tickets

Euromast tower tickets are the same product as every other ticket on this page, just searched under a different name. The GetYourGuide listing is a digital ticket with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead, so it is a low-risk purchase if the forecast is uncertain.

The official site also sells tickets and lists extras that GetYourGuide does not. It describes abseiling from 100 m, with the line “Do you dare to abseil from 100 meters high?” on its abseiling page, and tower suites you can sleep in, on its suite page. I don’t sell either, so book those directly.

Observation Deck Ticket Price

For a deck ticket the price of Euromast tickets is on the low side next to the big city towers, though I only compare what I have data for. At $15.17 you get 45 minutes of visit time, an exhibit about the city and the platform at about 96 m. The Euroscoop sits on top of that as an extra.

The value case comes from the reviews. 3,514 people rated it 4.55, and one wrote: “Great! You definitely have to do it and you absolutely have to buy the full ticket to go all the way up.” That tells me the Euroscoop is what many visitors remember, so I’d budget for it if heights do not bother you.

Euromast Tickets Online

Buying Euromast tickets online means choosing a date, selecting the Euroscoop option if you want it, and receiving a voucher. I’d book ahead for a sunset slot or a weekend, because those are the times I would expect queues. One reviewer said the wait for the Euroscoop was too long and it was cold, which is a good reason to book a mild day and arrive early.

Euromast Tickets Kopen

For readers who searched in Dutch, Euromast tickets kopen means buying tickets, and the listing here is available in English and Dutch. The ticket is sold in USD on this page, so a Dutch buyer should check the live price at checkout. The official site at euromast.nl has its own ticket page if you prefer to pay there in euros.

Best Time to Visit Euromast

Clear air matters more than the month. In the 2025 Open-Meteo data for the tower, March was the clearest month with 43% average cloud cover, then April at 44%. October was the cloudiest at 85%, followed by January at 80%. January and July both had 18 rainy days.

Sunset falls at 16:31 in December and 22:03 in June. Whichever of the Euromast tickets you pick, I’d arrive 45 to 60 minutes before sunset, so you see the harbour in daylight, in gold light and with the lights coming on. Pick a date below to see the sunset and the entry time to book.

What You Can See From Euromast

With Euromast tickets in hand you get the Nieuwe Maas, the Erasmus Bridge and the harbour cranes. The product description says that on a clear day you can see up to 18 miles, as far as The Hague, Delft and Gouda. The calculator shows the geometric horizon from the top.

Euromast vs Other Observation Decks in Rotterdam

Rotterdam has no second ticketed deck on this site, but it has several free-looking viewpoints. The table uses Google Maps figures and straight-line distances. I only mark a place paid when a source states it, so for the others you should check locally.

Place Google rating Distance from the tower Free or paid
Euromast 4.4 n/a Paid, from $15.17
View on Erasmusbrug 4.9 1.32 km (0.82 mi) Check locally
Watchtower Kralingseplas 4.5 4.50 km (2.80 mi) Check locally
Spotters Spot Doenkade 4.0 (114 reviews) 6.46 km (4.02 mi) Check locally

The Euromast is the only one with a ticket product I can compare. The bridge viewpoint shows you the skyline from below, while the tower looks down on the bridge, so they complement each other. If you want height, Euromast tickets are the way to get it in Rotterdam.

How I’d Choose

Frequently asked questions

What is the Euromast in Rotterdam?

The Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam designed by Hugh Maaskant and built between 1958 and 1960 for the Floriade, per Wikipedia. Wikidata gives its height as 184.5 m. It has a crow's nest platform, a restaurant and, on top, the Euroscoop, a rotating glass-floored lift that goes up to 185 m on the outside of the tower.

How much does a ticket to Euromast cost?

The only Euromast ticket I found on GetYourGuide costs $15.17 in USD. It covers entry to the tower, and the listing says the Euroscoop ticket is included if you choose that option. Prices change by date and option, so check the live price on the booking page before you pay.

Is Euromast worth it?

I think so, if you want a clear view over Rotterdam's harbour and bridges for a small outlay. The ticket has 4.55 stars from 3,514 reviews on GetYourGuide. Reviewers praise the 360 degree view, though one said the wait for the Euroscoop was long and cold, so go on a mild day.

What time does Euromast open and close?

The official Euromast site lists it as open daily from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and Google Maps shows the same 9:30 AM to 10 PM window for the day it lists. Hours can shift on holidays and for events, so check the official site for the date you plan to visit.

How long does a visit to Euromast take?

The GetYourGuide listing gives the visit as 45 minutes. That covers the tower itself, and the Rise of Rotterdam exhibit on the ground floor is part of the entry. Add time if you plan to eat in the restaurant, queue for the Euroscoop or walk through the park beside the tower.

When is the best time to visit Euromast?

I would go in the hour before sunset on a clear day. Open-Meteo data for 2025 shows March and April as the clearest months, at 43% and 44% average cloud cover, while October was the cloudiest at 85%. Sunset runs from 16:31 in December to 22:03 in June.
